Grace the series - week 2 John Lynch

Grace the series

In this stunning chapter 4 of Romans, Paul shows us the life of Abraham to remind us that even greatly admired heroes of the faith are only ever justified before God by faith, and never anything they accomplish. Paul then shows how this same faith that justifies us allows us to trust God in our hardest times, in things that look impossible for Him to accomplish. Table Talk Questions: 1) If God does want us, as believers, to see ourselves as already righteous, not striving to be righteous, how does this impact how we can see each other? 2) What truth, given in verses 17 explains how Abraham strengthened himself to believe God in a nearly unbelievable situation?

From Series: "Grace the series"

The truth of God's Grace, when understood, changes everything. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and resurrection paid it all so we could walk in freedom instead of bondage. Rooted in Romans, this is the foundational series of Open Door Fellowship.
