Grace the series - week 12 John Lynch

Romans 7:14-25 Paul displays the dilemma of reconciling my new heart with the sin still within me. I want to honor and love and represent God wonderfully in everything I do and am. But I discover that sometimes I can fail almost in the same way and regularity I did before I knew Him. It is maddening. This week God is using Paul to reveal the worst of what is still true so we can fully embrace the best of what is now true of us. Table Talk Questions: 1) Are you cautious to let even those close to you know what is really true in your thoughts and motives, for fear it would prove that you just aren’t getting the Christian life like others do? 2) Give an example of how you have experienced verse 19-“For the good that I want I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want."

From Series: "Grace the series"

The truth of God's Grace, when understood, changes everything. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and resurrection paid it all so we could walk in freedom instead of bondage. Rooted in Romans, this is the foundational series of Open Door Fellowship.
