Job Openings

  • Open Door is looking for someone who has a heart for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world! This role serves a two main purposes: one, heling our body lovingly be the “hands and feet of Jesus” locally and globall; and two, encouraging and ministering to our international missionaries. Additionally, this position coordinates our semi-monthly Food Bank and organizes other outreach projects throughout the year.

    Expected Hours: Approximately 15 hours a week (flexible).

  • Open Door Fellowship Church is seeking a committed and passionate follower of Christ who desires to oversee the facility and grounds maintenance for Open Door. This person will also support the facility needs of ministry leaders and the Open Door staff. Although these duties are the responsibility of the Facilities Manager, the position requires organizing and shepherding volunteers and skilled contractors to complete all necessary tasks.

    The Facilities Manager role encompasses the following:

    Facility Maintenance Tasks include:
    • Basic plumbing and electrical repairs
    • Painting maintenance
    • Minor repairs/construction on buildings
    • Contracting with vendors or volunteers to complete large or technical repairs/improvements
    • Scheduling regular carpet cleaning, pesticide care, and AC Maintenance
    • Cleaning grounds and parking lot of debris/trash


    Landscaping Maintenance Tasks include:
    • Pruning and removing bushes and trees
    • Repairing sprinkler systems
    • Repairing grounds from rain or traffic wear
    • Weekly - blow off property of debris

    Custodial Maintenance (Janitor: Jan Pence) Tasks include:
    • Vacuuming the office, classrooms, and auditorium
    • Mopping vinyl flooring the the kitchen, bathrooms, and classrooms
    • Disinfecting all bathroom surfaces
    • Dusting surfaces in auditorium, office and classrooms
    • Cleaning windows in auditorium, office and classrooms

    Supervision/Shepherding Tasks include:
    • Creating and shepherding ministry teams to provide volunteer support
    • Contracting and maintaining a list of recommended vendors and contractors, collecting
    insurance certificates as well as W-9 forms.


    Ministry Support Tasks Include:
    • Responsible to open and close the facility as needed
    • Prepare classrooms for midweek ministries/events (tables/chairs/HVAC)
    • Prepare auditorium for midweek ministry events
    • Set up and tear down for Sunday morning service
    • Part of the ODF Staff team, including weekly staff meetings

    Additional and/or Secondary Functions:
    Periodic project work as assigned by and together with the Lead Pastor. This might include facility improvement work, building, and space planning, as well as administrative oversight relating to an all church event. This additional work can and often will be identified by the Facility Manager and then brought to the Lead Pastor for discovery of resources to implement the proposed project or improvement.

    Hours: Full Time. 9am-4pm, Monday through Thursday; 8am-12pm Sundays.
