Tom Allen and a team of volunteer leaders are organizing a Rummage Sale to help students cover their summer camp costs. Scheduled for the weekend of April 14-16, this will be a wonderful opportunity to connect as a body and help students.
Here's how you can help:
Donate! If you have things to donate, you can drop them off in the Northwest corner of the Open Door parking lot on the following dates:
Saturday, March 18, from 8am-11am
Sunday, March 19th, 12:30pm-2pm
Saturday, March 25th, from 8am-11am
Sunday, March 26th, 12:30pm-2pm
Friday, April 7th, 12:30pm-2pm
Volunteer! We need volunteers for the sale weekend, and for prep a few weekends ahead of time. If you are not currently connected in our body, or are looking for a non-long-term opportunity to serve, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Also, if you're a student wanting to attend summer camp, volunteering at this Rummage Sale will help you pay for camp.*
Invite friends and shop at the Rummage Sale! The proceeds go to a wonderful cause.* The Rummage Sale will be from 6am-3pm, starting Friday, April 14, and ending Sunday, April 16th.
*Rummage Sale proceeds will benefit student volunteers' summer camp costs (Jr High & High School only). Students must volunteer for the event to be eligible for funds made during Rummage Sale (monies will be distributed proportionately in relation to the hours worked by each student)
